Cassandra Medley

Cassandra Medley is an award-winning playwright. Her produced plays include:

She is also the author of Terrain, which was nominated for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, and co-author of A My Name Is Alice.

She is the recipient of an Outer Critics Drama Circle Desk Award, a New York Foundation for the Arts fellowship, a National Endowment for the Arts grant in playwriting and a Walt Disney screenwriting fellowship. She has been a staff writer for an ABC Television daytime series and is a member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre and the Writer's Guild of America, East. She has been on the faculty of Sarah Lawrence College since 1989.

Kathy Yates

Kathy Yates has worked with Cassandra for the last 7 years. She has taught movement to writers and actors at Ensemble Studio Theater and the New Actors Workshop, as well as teaching her own classes at FLC. A former dancer and actress, Kathy is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (cm) and maintains a private practice in New York City.
